Privacy policy

Less data, better kept.

Our policy is data minimisation: we ask for as little personal information as the journey requires, and we protect what we hold.

Who we are

HANARE is a Tokyo land operator serving the international travel trade (B2B only). This policy explains how we handle personal data received through this site and our advisor portal.

What we collect

From travel advisors and agencies: name, agency, business contact details, and the content of enquiries and client briefs.

About travellers: only what is necessary to arrange the requested services. Client names are not required at the briefing stage — we encourage advisors to share traveller details only once arrangements are confirmed.

Technical data: server logs necessary to operate and protect the service, such as access times and request paths.

How we use it

To respond to enquiries, design proposals, arrange and document travel services, issue settlement documents, and operate advisor accounts.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for consumer marketing — we are a trade-only business.

Sharing

Traveller details are shared with suppliers — accommodation, restaurants, guides, transport — strictly to the extent required to deliver the confirmed arrangements.

We may disclose data where required by Japanese law.

Retention & security

Access to advisor and traveller data is restricted to authenticated accounts with individual credentials; access codes are stored only as cryptographic hashes.

We retain records for as long as the business relationship and statutory bookkeeping obligations require, then delete them.

Your choices

Advisors may request correction or deletion of their account data, and may ask what data we hold about them or their clients, through the contact page.

Contact & changes

Questions about this policy: use the contact form. HANARE is operated by RAC LLC (Tokyo); we will update this page as travel-business registration completes, and material changes will be noted here.
